JOHN BOLTON

COFOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

John is Unfiltered Media Group, LLC’s key operator and drives everything from high-level strategy to ground-level execution in sales, ecommerce, marketing, audience development, social media, distribution and fulfillment, finance, and more. His media experience spans over 20 years and ranges from cofounder of a small independent publisher to SVP/Group Publisher for a $90M+ division of a $250M media conglomerate.


JAMIE BOGNER

COFOUNDER & CHIEF CONTENT OFFICER

Jamie’s focus is on content and product, developing big picture vision while simultaneously serving as Editorial and Creative Director for Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine®, working with creative contributors (writers, editors, photographers, illustrators, videographers) across media. He’s served in roles as diverse as Art Director, Editorial Director, VP of Content, and VP/Group Publisher for a variety of media companies, and is equally at home evaluating P&L’s or designing magazine pages.

Haydn Strauss

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Haydn joined Unfiltered Media Group, LLC’s through the acquisition of Hops, a beer discovery app that used machine learning to help users find the best beer for their tastes. Haydn’s new focus is on driving revenue through new and existing mediums, with a focus on digital channels. He has a wealth of expertise and particular strengths in software development, marketing strategy, system architecture, leadership, branding, and design. Haydn is originally from Portland, Oregon, but now lives in Denver with his wife and two kids. 


Kristi Avery

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Kristi joined Unfiltered Media Group, LLC’s team in January of 2020, and brought with her over 15 years of experience driving financial strategy for small & medium-sized businesses across various industries.  She has a wealth of expertise and particular strengths in mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, financial reporting systems, P&L reporting, and both short-term financial strategy and long term budgetary oversight.   Kristi is a Colorado native, and lives in Fort Collins with her husband and three kids.

BLAKE OSMOND

DIRECTOR OF MEDIA SALES AND BRAND PARTNERSHIPS FOR CRAFT BEER

Blake joined the Unfiltered Media Team in December of 2016. With over 25 years of business development and management experience, he has worked across various global industries in diverse, results driven roles. He specializes in creating customized, omni-channel marketing solutions to ensure every single partner exceeds annual goals and achieves the highest levels of success. Blake is originally from Tustin, CA, but currently resides in Fort Collins, CO with his fiancé.  


JULIE MACDONALD

DIRECTOR OF MEDIA SALES AND BRAND PARTNERSHIPS FOR LONG THREAD MEDIA

Julie joined Unfiltered and Long Thread Media in 2021 with more than 20 years of media experience. She is passionate about driving results for partners, with a focus on omni-channel marketing campaigns. Regarded as a thought leader in the enthusiast craft market, Julie brings a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for the Long Thread brands and delivering best-in-class marketing for our customers. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and child.


RACHEL MARTIN

DIRECTOR OF EVENTS AND CUSTOMER SUCCESS

Rachel has grown with the Unfiltered business over the past 8 years as one of its earliest employees. She has been the key driver in developing Unfiltered into a best-in-class company with regard to customer and partner experience. Rachel is a Colorado native and lives in Fort Collins with her husband, child, and 3 fur babies
